Kitchen and Living Room Update and Remodel

Kitchen and Living Room Update and Remodel

In 2011, this two bedroom 815 sq. ft. home languished on the market because of its boring floor plan and poor condition. A savy investor and a tasteful remodel turned it into a hot property, almost overnight.

Older homes frequently have nice features like cove ceilings, wood floors, and mature trees. Older homes are also more likely to have small rooms and more walls. Not conducive to the way we like to live now. Removing a wall, updating a kitchen and pulling up carpet created a total transformation.

When remodeling a home to sell, it's a good idea to consult a realtor familiar with the area to make sure you don't spend more money on the remodel than you can hope to recover.
