Staging the Denver Ronald McDonald House

Staging the Denver Ronald McDonald House
During one week in September, 2007, Ronald McDonald Houses all over the United States were attacked by pillows, lamps, rugs, mirrors, art, floral arrangements and lots of fun and creativity in an effort to give back to the community that's given so much to us.

The Denver team transformed five rooms from nice away-from-home spaces to beautiful, warm, cozy and inviting rooms to rest, relax, reflect and renew in the midst of monumental personal challenges.

In addition to the $300 IAHSP Foundation donation that was used to purchase pictures and accessories, we received two gorgeous paintings from PPI, valued at $500. IAHSP members donated another $1350 worth of pillows, throws, artwork, mirrors, floral arrangements, lamps, greenery, books and accessories to complete the transformation.

Thank you to all of you who made this project so successful and so much fun! A special thanks to Kendra Trebil, House Manager for her gracious support and to Ronald McDonald. Most especially, thank you to all the parents and kids who dropped by to watch, thank us, and say how much they loved what we were doing!

Many of the other gifted decorators didn't make it into the picture. Thanks to the entire team. You're the greatest!
